Unique Senior Care are seeking a talented, highly-driven Registered Care Manger to join our expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Care Manager to support the launch of our home care services within the Oxford area and build and grow a successful team. Unique Senior Care is highly established and successful, currently holding an Outstanding Rating with CQC. Reporting directly into the Director of Operations, you will be overseeing the day to day running of the service in line with regulatory requirements to deliver high – quality person centred care. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring the recruitment and retention of staff meets the service demands and enables growth to meet set KPI’s.

Unique Senior Care provides outstanding home care services in the Midlands, supporting predominately the elderly. We offer completely bespoke packages of personalised companionship and care to the elderly to help them maintain their independence and continue to live in their own homes.

We pride ourselves in being different to many other home care providers by offering a minimum of one-hour call times and continuity of care.

Registered Care Manager Job description

  • To be registered with the Care Quality Commission to enable the services to carry out regulated activity.
  • Manage the day to day running of the service to ensure that the business runs effectively whilst promoting the vision and the values of the organisations to achieve good outcomes for people
  • Effectively manage & support the team to deliver an excellent service to our clients and to ensure a home work life balance for our Caregivers
  • To achieve an outstanding rating by using innovation to improve the service in line with regulatory requirements
  • Promote & support a positive culture. Ensuring staff are supported and have the opportunity to develop
  • Work in partnership with the Recruitment & HR team, making sure there is a resourcing plan in place for the recruitment & retention of staff.
  • Ensure that all client involvement and Caregiver engagement feedback is used to proactively shape and improve the service
  • Deliver on agreed KPI’s and targets to ensure growth and compliance
  • Use tools and systems to monitor quality and performance

Registered Care Manager Experience & skills

  • You will have been previously registered with the Care Quality Commission
  • You will have a minimum of two years’ experience as a Registered Care Manager preferably in a Domiciliary setting
  • You will have excellent organisational & communication skills
  • Level 5 qualified in Health & Social Care or working towards
  • Must have a full UK driving license and own vehicle

  • £33,750 plus bonus, per annuum
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • 40 hour contract
