How Helena supports colleagues and clients
Helena provides clear operational direction and support to ensure colleagues feel equipped to deliver consistent, high‑quality care. She recognises that dependable care stems from well‑led, well‑trained, and valued teams.
She leads the operational support network that underpins every service, ensuring Care Managers, Registered Managers and Caregivers have the guidance, training, and structure needed to deliver care safely and effectively. Helena works closely with teams to identify challenges early, strengthen communication, and maintain clear processes that protect both clients and colleagues.
She carries out regular internal service reviews, checking that each branch and care setting meets the required standards. These reviews identify improvements, highlight good practice, and ensure quality remains consistent across the organisation. Reviews are aligned with Care Quality Commission (CQC) frameworks, ensuring every service meets regulatory expectations and the standards families rightly expect from Unique Senior Care.
Helena also maintains close links with clients and families, using their feedback to refine systems and improve day‑to‑day practice. Her leadership is structured, measured, and focused on maintaining safe, reliable services while supporting colleagues to deliver care with confidence.

In Helena's words..
My insights on operation excellence
"Outstanding care doesn’t happen by chance; it’s the result of strong systems, clear communication, and colleagues who feel supported to do their best work.
My focus is on creating reliable processes that protect clients and empower our teams to deliver consistent, person‑centred care. This also means involving families, keeping communication open, and making sure their feedback shapes the way support is delivered.
When standards are clear and everyone understands their role, great care naturally follows."
How I got into my role
"I started my career in care over 40 years ago because I wanted to make a practical difference in people’s lives. Over the years, I’ve worked in every part of the sector, from providing hands‑on support to leading services and teams.
Those experiences taught me what good care looks like and why structure, training, and teamwork matter so much. My journey with Unique Senior Care has allowed me to bring all of that experience together, supporting colleagues to deliver safe, consistent care every day."
