Physical Therapy Support
Staying active after illness, injury, or surgery can feel harder with age. Our Physical Therapy Support offers gentle, practical help alongside therapist-led programmes, helping people keep moving safely at home.
While our Caregivers are not trained physiotherapists, they can support exercises and routines recommended by a physiotherapist or occupational therapist, helping progress continue between appointments.
Whether support is needed after a fall, during recovery, or when managing long-term mobility changes, we focus on encouragement, routine, and reassurance so therapy plans are easier to follow day to day.

We can help with:
Daily movement and mobility support
We help with safe movement around the home, from getting up and moving between rooms to building confidence walking short distances.
Encouragement with recommended exercises
If a Physiotherapist has suggested exercises or routines, we can offer gentle prompts and encouragement to help keep things consistent.
Building confidence and reducing fall risks
Having someone nearby can help people feel steadier and more confident, especially after a fall or period of reduced mobility.
Staying active at home
For those who find it hard to stay motivated alone, our support helps make movement part of everyday life, rather than something to avoid.

Support after illness, surgery, or a fall
Physical Therapy Support is often used during recovery, but it can also help people maintain movement when mobility is gradually changing.
Flexible support that adapts over time
Some people need short-term help. Others benefit from ongoing support. Care can increase, reduce, or change as confidence and ability shift.
Working alongside health professionals
We work alongside NHS or private Physiotherapists, supporting routines they recommend and helping families feel reassured at home.

How our Physical Therapy Support works
Our Physical Therapy Support focuses on consistency and confidence, not rushing or pushing. Some families arrange support alongside physiotherapy appointments. Others introduce it when someone feels unsure moving around at home.
Care is shaped around the individual. That might mean gentle encouragement with daily movement, support following an exercise plan, or simply being there for reassurance. As strength or confidence improves, support can be reduced. If progress is slower, care can continue without pressure.
You’ll be matched with a small team of carers who get to know routines, preferences, and how each person likes to be supported. They are part of our employed care team and receive regular oversight to ensure support remains safe and appropriate.
