In Sarah's words..
My insights on supporting independence
"Good care at home comes from consistency, communication, and making sure people feel comfortable with the support they receive.
My focus is on ensuring care is organised in the right way and continues to adapt as people’s needs change. That means working closely with clients, families, and Caregivers so everyone feels informed and supported.
I believe reliable care is built on trust, clear communication, and being approachable. When people feel listened to and supported, it creates a more positive and settled experience for everyone involved."
How I got into my role
"I’ve worked in care for more than 20 years, with much of my experience in domiciliary care supporting people in their own homes.
Over the years, I’ve seen how much of a difference good care can make to someone’s confidence, independence, and day-to-day wellbeing. That’s what has kept me passionate about working in care.
In my role now, I work closely with clients, families, and Caregivers to make sure care is running smoothly and continues to meet each person’s needs in the right way."
