My approach to leading a care team

"For me, great home care starts with listening. Every Client has their own routines, preferences, and way of doing things, so taking the time to understand what matters to them is always the first step.

I also believe that exceptional care comes from well-supported Caregivers. When people have the right training, guidance, and encouragement, they can build trusted relationships and give families real confidence in the care they're receiving.

That's something I'm proud to see every day across our Coventry and Warwickshire team."

How I got into my role

"I started my career in health and social care more than 30 years ago because I wanted to make a positive difference to people's lives. What has kept me in the profession is seeing how much compassionate, reliable care can mean to someone and their family.

Every day is different, but the goal is always the same: helping people stay safe, maintain their independence, and feel respected in their own home.

It's a privilege to support both our Clients and our Caregivers, and I'm proud to be part of a team that's committed to delivering outstanding care."
