She focuses on building strong relationships, making sure clients feel comfortable, and helping families feel confident in the care being provided.

In her role, Clare works closely with her team to oversee care delivery, review care plans, and ensure support remains consistent and responsive. She takes a practical approach, making adjustments where needed and ensuring communication stays clear between everyone involved.

My insights on supporting independence at home

"Good care at home starts with understanding the person and what matters most to them.

My focus is on making sure care is planned in the right way and continues to reflect each person’s needs. That means working closely with families, keeping communication clear, and making adjustments as things change.

When care is consistent and supports independence, it helps people feel more confident and settled in their day-to-day life."

How I got into my role

"I began working in care in 2016 and have since supported a wide range of clients in the community.

My experience has also been shaped by supporting a close family member with dementia, which gave me a personal understanding of the importance of clear communication and feeling supported.

In my role now, I work closely with clients, families, and my team to make sure care is well planned and continues to work as it should."
