We’re delighted to share some exciting news: Unique Senior Care has been shortlisted for the HealthInvestor Awards 2026 in the Domiciliary Care Provider of the Year category – for the second time.

The HealthInvestor Awards are one of the most respected events in the UK health and social care sector, recognising organisations that demonstrate outstanding care, innovation, and leadership. Being shortlisted again is a meaningful moment for our whole team and reflects the continued focus we place on delivering thoughtful, high-quality care for the people and families who trust us with their support.

A Recognition of Our Team

At the heart of this achievement is our incredible team of caregivers, managers, coordinators, and support staff. Our caregivers build trusted relationships with clients day to day, delivering compassionate, person-centred support in people’s homes and helping individuals maintain independence, dignity and confidence in their daily lives.

Our care managers work closely with families to plan, review and adapt care as needs change, ensuring every client receives the right support at the right time. Behind the scenes, our office and support teams help keep everything running smoothly, from coordinating visits and supporting caregivers, to making sure families always have someone to turn to when they need guidance.

Together, every role plays a part in ensuring care is not only professional and reliable, but also personal, respectful and truly built around the individual needs of each client. This recognition reflects the shared commitment, teamwork and kindness that our people bring to their work every day.

Innovation Alongside Compassion

Alongside delivering high-quality care, we are continually exploring ways to make care more accessible, transparent and supportive for families who may be navigating complex decisions.

Over the past year this has included developing new digital resources, expanding our Care Advice Hub to provide helpful information for families, and creating more video content to answer common questions about home care and support people in understanding their options.

At the same time, we’ve continued investing in staff development, training and community initiatives, including dementia-friendly programmes and partnerships with local organisations that support people to live well within their communities.

Being shortlisted for this award is not just a milestone for Unique Senior Care as an organisation, it’s also a reflection of the trust placed in us by our clients, their families, and the wider community.

We would especially like to thank the families who place their trust in our teams every day. Supporting someone you care about at home is a decision, and we are grateful for the confidence families show in allowing us to be part of that journey.

Looking Ahead

The winners of the HealthInvestor Awards 2026 will be announced later this year, and we’re honoured simply to be recognised alongside so many outstanding providers in the sector.

For now, we’re celebrating the moment and continuing to focus on what matters most: delivering high-quality, personalised care that helps people live with dignity, independence and confidence.

Thank you so much to everyone who supports Unique Senior Care.
